How do I license CRP Gen?
Download and install the software on the PC that you plan
to use when printing the completed forms. Start CRP Gen, then go to the
"Setup -> Acquire License" screen to enter your
name, address, Minnesota Landlord ID number and credit
card information. Click
"Send" to encrypt this data and send it to our payment processing
server. Once your information is
validated, the software will be activated and you will be able to
generate and print completed Certificates of Rent Paid for your tenants.
Can I try CRP Gen
before I license it?
A trial version of CRP Gen can be easily downloaded
from this web site. The
trial version will have all features turned on with the exception that you will
NOT be able to print any completed CRPs.
Once you acquire a license for the software, the Print
functionality will be enabled.
What
is my Minnesota Landlord ID number?
The Minnesota Department of Revenue assigns all landlords and managing
agents with a Landlord ID number. This number can be found on the
mailing label of the materials that you received from the Minnesota DOR
regarding this year's CRP.
